The
10&u's are definitely the most amazing kids to watch. They start off sooooo lost
and confused, mostly looking for something to hold on to so they don't have to
tread water. If the ball isn't a floaty toy, then someone's head is! In just 4
short weeks they start to come around and figure it out. That's what makes the
championship finals so fun to watch. Their skills are improved and they are
actually starting to play the game. If you haven't seen the 10's, you should
swing by and watch.
This year we again have some talented strong kids. Some of these kids can throw the ball over half tank! Phantom Lake, Norwood and Mercerwood all look to be strong teams. Phantom Lake beat a strong Newport Hills team 16 - 3. Norwood then beat Phantom Lake 15 - 9. Mercerwood is definitely showing serious strength as usual. Expect to see them as serious contenders in the championship tournament. This is a great base of kids for the future.ion 2 team that had a strong showing was MICC with a strong 8 - 1 win.
